#40: S05E07 Ex Machina
We note the Panop’s similarity to Bentham’s (and later Foucault’s) panopticon. We discuss Jo’s character growth which leads her to her leap forward in this episode (and Shaw as a tool to expose that growth). We speculate on the limits to man/machine relationships. We dive into the leadership qualities of various heads of GD and how the job might’ve affected their personalities. And get a big kick out of how everyone now lives with Carter.
