#1: Introduction

In our first Save Eureka podcast we take a little time to discuss the show’s recent cancellation, why the show matters to us, and what drew us to it in the first place. We also talk a little about last week’s episode, “Omega Girls.”

OSSIM cast as always. Really would like to find a way to save this one

  2. Chuck says:

Thanks, sir. Me, too. I’m not sure our efforts will necessarily have a big effect on SyFy, but we just couldn’t let such a great family show die without at least a good farewell. And who knows?

  3. Shooter says:

I still had the last two episodes on my DVR that aired August 8th, 2011 and August 15, 2011 so I went back and took a look at the sponsors. I figured I’d get this info out in case anyone wanted to try to petition the sponsors for anything. Of course the biggest support you can lend to the show is to watch it live instead of delayed on the DVR or thru other means. I’ve left out what I think are local ads.

The two main sponsors for the August 8th episode were Kit Kat and Angie’s List. Here’s how the commercials broke down:

    1st Commercial Break
    -Kit Kat
    -iPhone (Verizon)
    -Subaru Forrester
    -IHOP
    -Ford F-150

    2nd Commercial Break
    -Angie’s List
    -Cialis
    -Capital One Credit Card Venture
    -Final Destination 5
    -Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
    -Subaru Forrester

    3rd Commercial Break:
    -Samuel Adams Boston Lager
    -Caesars Las Vegas
    -Kit Kat
    -Subaru Forrester
    -Symbicort

    4th Commercial Break
    -iPad2
    -Cymbalta
    -Almond Joy/Mound

    5th Commercial Break
    -Shark Night 3D
    -Subaru
    -Cialis

The main sponsor for the August 15th episode was Subaru:

    1st Commercial Break:
    -Subaru
    -Cialis

    2nd Commercial Break:
    -Conan
    -Infinity G Sedan
    -Cymbalta
    -Sears
    -Final Destination

    3rd Commercial Break
    -Contagion
    -Subaru
    -T-Mobile
    -iPad2
    -Superpages.com
    -Dyson Vacuums

    4th Commercial Break
    -Shark Night 3D

    -Progressive

    5th Commercial Break

I hope this helps! Love the cast guys! Too bad Juan didn’t do a “It’s a trap” soundbite. I would have loved to have heard that!
