GWC Podcast #143

This week we re-watch the BSG season 4.0 finale, Revelations, in preparation for next week’s 4.5 premiere! Highlights: we wonder who’s really the president (and who’s really in charge) at this point, remember again how badass Saul Tigh is (especially in Revelations), talk about why Adama lost it, analyze Three’s “four are in the fleet” quote (and what it might mean to the final cylon’s identity), weigh Tory’s evil against BYBBQ 8’s, hear Audra’s final pre-4.5 hair report (hint: Tyrol w/shaved head is scary), and discuss the hilarity of bare male ass.

Did nobody else find that intro even slightly creepy/mental sounding?

The above comment was not meant as an insult.

Also, just for fun, here’s the AYBS theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6pZSfmAUo4

I used to watch that show alot.

Regarding Adama’s breakdown, I think he was crying because he lost the illusion of control. If Saul Tigh, his friend for 40 years is a cylon, it means that everything Bill has done has played into someone else’s plan. He’s been used and played and he didn’t see it. Not in spite of his good intentions, but BECAUSE of them. He is a broken marionette.

Also, I know some of RDM comments suggest that Lee Adam is not the final cylon, but the resurrection ship part 2 episode heavily implies he is in fact a cylon because when he is dying from oxygen loss, we see him FLOATING IN THE STREAM. This is probably a red herring though because I seriously doubt that the final five can resurrect.

Heh. To be honest, I spent the first half of the intro thinking, “What the heck happened to Cackleberry?”

    FYI –

For any of you early risers out there, I just found ‘sode 10 available on iTunes. Downloading now can’t wait to watch.
