We mentioned the possibility of a ‘Banzai re-watch last week, and Sean and I have decided to go for it this upcoming week. (He’s bringing his awesome, cheap-ass, used-book-store-scored copy over and we’re watching together.)
If you’d like to join us, you’re welcome. I’ve started a thread over on the forum for everyone to hang out and discuss the movie. And if you’re too busy this week, don’t worry. I’ll keep the thread open and we can continue the discussion as long as anyone wants to participate.

And if you’re still looking for a DVD copy, we advise first checking your local used book/video shop. If you don’t find it there, Amazon is currently offering it for $10.
Buckaroo Banzai DVD Via Amazon [What’s this?]
I don’t remember much about the novelization of BB, but I’m tempted to say it’s the best movie-to-book adaptation ever, if only for its extensive footnotes in reference to other Banzai adventures. If I remember correctly. I was in maybe fifth grade when it came out, and assumed the other stories referred to in the book actually existed. They don’t, do they?
