Galactica Watercooler listeners have a new presence on Facebook, thanks to our pal Steve Lunny up in NYC! If you get a chance, come by and say hello – everyone is welcome! It’s also a great way to contact other GWC-ers and even see the faces behind the names (unless you’re like me and just stick with Sean’s kickin’ avatar design).
To find the group, log into Facebook and search for “Galactica Watercooler Galactigeeks United.” Thanks to Steve and the first dozen members who are getting the ball rolling. Hope to see you there!
Hey, this is great! I’ll join as soon as I get a decent picture up, which I’ve been needing to do for months now. The one I have up now is a horribly pixelated one of when I graduated last year. lol
There’s a great group there that I’m on called “It’s all fun and games ’till someone loses a frakkin’ eye!” and it’s dedicated to Col. Tigh (specifically after he lost that hard boiled egg). There’s another one that I’m on and it’s name is something like “BSG: I used to make fun of it and now I’m addicted!”
Woohoo, lots of new friends 🙂
already up in dere!!
Dave
ben salut !
Thank you Steve… you’re the man !!
😛
All right, you’ve all made me join Face Book. This rocks!
I’ve come out of the shadows to say hello.
I can’t believe I’ve been convinced to join FaceBook.
You are all such bad influences (but it makes me feel young, so Yippee!)
Actually, I have to give props to Steve for doing this. I joined Facebook just to check the GWC group out and in the process have found people I hadn’t seen in almost 20 years. So a big, hearty thank you for this!
Props to Steve! I joined. I love the whole concept.
I posted a Philly Meet-Up #3 thread.
Rock on!
My brother asks me to join Facebook. Not another smarmy networking site, I scoff.
My sister asks me to join Facebook. I don’t need another online account, I complain.
My friends overseas ask me to join Facebook and look at their photos from Japan and Denmark. I can look at them without joining, I reason.
GWC asks me to join Facebook. I’m there.
hey… kind of off topic, but not really…. is anyone here on Second Life… it would be pretty cool to meet up in world…. is it November yet? hehehe
My birthday is in November. I’ll get the season 3 DVD and have it for 7 minutes before half my friends ask to borrow it. I got 3 groups of friends addicted to BSG and I’m the only one that buys the DVDs. Frak them!
Howard Stern mentioned BSGWC and I started listening. BSGWC mentioned facebook so I joined. Where does it end?
