Roslin did get Baltar elected as Vice President… but I can forgive on account of not knowing the consequences.

Hey GWC crew, I was thinking. Maybe instead of the Prez approval polls, you could have a debate question poll for each episode (sometimes this may not apply).

For example, for Hand of God, you could have something like “Did Baltar get lucky or does Six actually have information he does not?” And of course for the moral question ones like Measure of Salvation, I think a poll would be interesting.

  3. Dan, the Lord of Kobol says:

I find it rather undemocratic how the President introduced a hand-picked, backroom candidate to the race for VP.

Anyone else starting to see the vices of Roslin’s Presidency this early in the show, or is it just me?

  4. Mike P says:

To be honest, I already voted “approve” in this poll, but only because I was thinking of “Hand of God” instead of “Colonial Day.” If I had it to do over, I would vote “disapprove.” I understand why she did what she did in stabbing poor Wally Gray in the back — but I don’t think that makes it right.

I agree with Mike and Dan. This was the only time that I voted dissaprove, because I thought that the other guy would have been a better pollitical partner. I doesn’t take long for Baltar to start bitching about his vice presidential duties. The only time that he owns it is when his ego is brused. Like on Kobal when the Chief calls him doc.
