I’m going to vote “Approve” simply because in the BSG timeframe maybe a day or so has expired since the last poll was taken and there hasn’t been that much of a change in the Roslin administration (Zarek is VERY conspicious by his absence) except for the possible “reboot”.

The fact that Baltar was found innocent was not so much a reflection of the Roslin Administration as it was the writings of one Joseph Adama as interpreted by Lee Adama.

Imho, Baltar is guilty of alot of unpardonables –
    1) Failing to report Sharon as a cylon when his cylon detector showed her to be a cylon
    2) Giving a nuke to the enemy
    3) Fleeing New Caprica with the cylons instead of the human fleet – that was the biggest indicator of his collaboration with the enemy/guilt.

  2. BoxytheBoxed says:

disaprove because of the charges she chose to put on Baltar, good work pollmaster

  3. Joe says:

Boxy, that’s why I disapproved. There were plenty of people that could have been put on the stand who would have proved Baltar’s guilty. Athena, Caprica six, Admiral Adama… Adama gave him the nuke. Caprica.. well yes you all know. Athena most likely knows all about Baltar’s influence during the initial attacks because Caprica is a cylon hero and all the cylons know what she did.
Roslin could have planned much better if she was so adamant to get Baltar charged.

  4. Writch says:

Joe- Interesting choice of words to associate with Roslin: “…if she was so adamant…” Adama NT (“Not There”, “Nice Try”, “No Tyrant”, etc. etc. )

    Hi all…

Everyone who has read what I have said on the other polls know where I stand…

I just am happy to see the disaproval rating going up and up every week.

After Lee’s speech, and how he laid it out there for everyone to reevaluate where they stood onthe matter, it was most disappointing to see Laura hold her grudge.

For that I voted disapprove, and she will have to do alot to earn my approval from here out.

  7. Josh says:

changed my vote to disaprove this week.

I was willing to forgive her for most of what she did. But I didn’t like her reaction to the trial. She basically tried to fix the trial anyway.

He was found not guilty, live with it Roslyn! Even Adama thinks so.

  8. Matt says:

I voted approve, as I always have before. I don’t think it was a crime for her to be upset about the verdict and she didn’t try to use her power to subvert it after the verdict came down. This again goes to show that Laura Roslin is not a dictator or queen as many have called her.

  9. Ryan says:

    Matt,

I agree that she didn’t use her power, and I was glad to see that. When Adama said the president could overrule their decision to let Lee testify, i half expected her to do that.

And I am not upset that she was disappointed in the verdict.

I am upset that her perception was not changed by Lee’s argument. He was so correct about the reasons for this trial, and his logic about the President’s Pardon, and his question as to why they would not forgive baltarwas right on. Sure Baltar has done some crazy bad things, but what happened on New Caprica was not his doing. I thought that Roslin would have been persuaded by that. She wasn’t, and that is why I was disappointed.

  10. Max says:

    Approve; she didn’t assassinate Baltar.

  11. Matt says:

Thank God the numbers are starting to bounce back. Last time I checked her disapprove numbers were higher then her approve numbers.
