In a move sure to excite every geek in the frakking universe, Dark Horse Comics is about to release a One Shot Wonder comic book. The subject? Why, none other than that holder of a Ph.D. in Horribleness: Dr. Horrible. Every poser in a parka is going to want one of these!
Created by our hero, Joss Whedon, and brought to printed life by Dr. H cohort and Bad Horse buddy Zack Whedon and artist Joelle Jones, this one-off, 40-page comic promises insight into the brilliant but naive doctor’s younger years, including a look into Billy’s first foray into small “C” crime, as well as an all-out battle with nemesis and all-around tool, Dr. Hammer.
Collectors will note that two very freeze-ray cool variant covers will also be released, and fans can look forward to special appearances by a certain moist sidekick and some girl named Penny. The comic will be released on November 18th and is already available for pre-order online. (Insert Evil Laughter here.)
