OF COURSE you call a magic user a "Magic User." None of this "Illusionist" crap (or whatever the kids say these days) for us. Dude uses magic. He's a Magic User! No need to muddy the waters. We had +1 swords and Iron Rations and 10 foot poles (even though we never figured out why) and Magic Users who didn't bellyache about armor (well, after a couple levels.) And we LIKED IT! Goddamn I’m old…
