Welcome
GWC is a community of friendly people who enjoy and participate in geekdom as a whole. We are young and old, female and male, writers and readers, teachers and students, philosophers and skeptics, Browncoats and Trekkies, outside continents and beyond countries -- and we have one thing in common: passionate, shameless enthusiasm.
We’re interested in TV shows, movies, comics, novels, gaming, science, and music. We’re interested in each other. We like to chat about just about any topic. We’ll listen and give informed feedback, and at the end of the day we think of GWC as a clubhouse for a (very large) group of friends.

She’s got no choice but to take a hardline on the Starbuck issue…too many unknowns and the Adamas are just too close to Kara to be of any use right now.
Yeap, I agree with Topgun.
True. However, she’s doubting Adama in front of his crew and officers. She’s undermining his authority. Not the sign of a good leader. She could have taken him aside for discussion.
She’s undergoing cancer treatment, and just generally beaten to crap. I think considering this, I’d still want her as my ‘leader’.
I think she is doing what should be done, becasue who knows what Starbuck is. Also, I think(so does my mom) that she lied about the cancer and that she just used it to make Lee feel bad.
I just have to disapprove – while I totally agree with TG and others that she definitely needed to take the hard line with Starbuck, I think a good leader would have kept all of her options open, especially given that we’re talking about finding Earth here – her stated sole purpose before she dies. Kara had pictures of Earth for frak’s sake.
I’m curious if there is a Starbuck-like character in the scrolls of Pithia – i.e. someone who comes along and leads them the right or wrong way.
I like the way you set up that your info is the homepage, nicely done. Thanks!
