This Week’s Podcast Guest: You!
You were already Time’s person of the year, now you’re guesting on GWC — looks like it’s a good time to be you!
Kidding aside, we’d like to give you the opportunity to join us directly for the last GWC podcast before season 3.5. All you need to do to join us is give us a call at (214) 296-9229. (Regular listeners will recognize this as our normal comment line.) It’s a voicemail number, so just follow the instructions to leave us a message. If everything goes well, we’ll compile them (along with our own commentary) into this week’s podcast. And hey, if everyone’s too busy to call this week, we’ll figure something else out.
Note: I know some of you podcast as well, so if you’d like to send us higher-quality audio, drop me a line and we’ll see if we can’t work it out.
Have a good week, and we look forward to hearing from some of the regular commenters here on the blog. (You know who you are!) We love reading your comments, so it’ll be fun to put a voice with a name.

Welcome
GWC is a community of friendly people who enjoy and participate in geekdom as a whole. We are young and old, female and male, writers and readers, teachers and students, philosophers and skeptics, Browncoats and Trekkies, outside continents and beyond countries -- and we have one thing in common: passionate, shameless enthusiasm.
We’re interested in TV shows, movies, comics, novels, gaming, science, and music. We’re interested in each other. We like to chat about just about any topic. We’ll listen and give informed feedback, and at the end of the day we think of GWC as a clubhouse for a (very large) group of friends.

Well, that’s a pretty cool idea.
Okay, guys, I just recorded a comment, and I was just finished when the computer cut me off. I hope you got all of that and you know what I was trying to say. Otherwise, some company out there got a long rambling voice-mail about Michelangelo.
If I slurred my words, it’s because I was drunk. But I still had something intelligent to say.
Heh. I feel for you Abel. There really needs to be a review option on that call-in so that you can have a couple of goes at it. Not all of us are broadcast-ready.
Yeah, and some of us have voices for a silent movie lol.
this sounds awesome, great idea guys
